COMPANY PROFILE
Mac Brothers Catering Equipment (Pty) Ltd was established in Cape Town by brothers Derek and Philip McMahon. Between them they have designed, built and owned over 40 franchised restaurants, both in South Africa and Africa since 1983. They continue to transfer and share their knowledge and expertise in the concept; design; manufacturing and commissioning of the full range of catering equipment requirements with first-time entrepreneurs, as well as leading brands, hotels, restaurants, golf courses, industrial canteens, hospitals and wine estates.
Although computer-aided designs have been used in the industry for an extended period of time, Mac Brothers were first to install the superior software system. The system allows the rendering of a three-dimensional kitchen design with all appliances and components in place, which enables you to do a virtual walk-through of the proposed kitchen before committing a cent to the project.
Our head office; showroom and Factory facility is located in Epping Industria Cape Town. Our sub-branches are located in Germiston Johannesburg and Westville Durban, and Zimbabwe, including a unique design department.
Sabenza Manufacturing Systems (Pty) Ltd is run by Director Ivan Burns. With over 15 years experience in the industry he has been instrumental in designing and building many items of catering equipment used today. He has attracted many talented artisans to his team filling a staff complement of 80. The factory is located at the Mac Brothers head office and showroom in Epping Industria, Cape Town.
All major projects are run on a 50/50 joint venture basis between Mac Brothers Catering Equipment and Sabenza Manufacturing Systems. We have a unique advantage being able to supply the manufactured components as well as the items which we supply as agents, both locally built and imported.
